Sea World

Not sure about "petting" the sting rays
Shamu show ROCKS!!!
What a happy boy!!

She was asleep in the stroller walking out to our car.
I will take that as a sign of a good time!!
We had to visit Sea World while we were down in Floria, Scott and I loved it and we knew that Ella would too...we were right! I think that she liked the dolphins the best, she got to pick out one thing to take with her and it was a stuffed dolphin! The dolphins were being fed and we missed that, but we could stand at the end of the pool and they were playing and you could put your hands in the water and touch them if they came by. So Ella and I were waiting and watching them play and they decided to jump right where we were standing, which we thought was the greatest thing ever, until the landed in the water and got us all WET!! It was nice outside, so we dried fast. The Shamu show was awesome, as usual!
We decided to do this and then hit the road for the long drive home. We stopped for a quick bite around 8:30pm, got the kids in jammies and headed to Chattanooga! We made it there around 1:30am and headed straight to bed! We made it home around 5:30pm safe and sound.

Collin Maxfield

We think that everyone should remember that name because he may be famous someday!!! He really is an awesome baseball player and we couldn't be more proud of him!! More than baseball though, he is an amazing student and really a great kid! We had a great time spending this Saturday at the baseball diamond and enjoyed watching him pitch. His team easily won the tournement with 2 of the games won by the run rule!
Maybe this is a look into the future...Cole...baseball?? We'll see!!!

Downtown Disney

Wat up??!!
My cheesy boy!!
Ella and Cinderella
The Fam at the Rainforest Cafe
The kiddos in front of the Lego DragonCheck Spelling
They had a lego person walking 4 or 5 dogs and one of them was a bulldog. All she talked about dinner was going back to see the Lego bulldog.
My dad treated us all to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe...I thought that Ella would LOVE it. I was wrong...she liked it, but once Scott pointed out that a very large dragonfly was above her head, she was VERY cautious! Every 20 minutes there is a "thunderstorm" and the animals start moving and she really didn't know what to think. Everyone loved their dinner and we had a great time seeing Downtown Disney. Thanks Dad!!

New Smyrna Beach, FL

Cole is cashed!

Uncle Scott and Ella...excuse the exposed boobies!!

Cole feeling the sand and water on his tootsies for the first time!

Messing around!!

It was the most beautiful day...80's and not a cloud in the sky...so we decided to head to the beach to meet up with my brother and hang out. I thought that Ella would play in the sand and not really like the water because it was pretty cold. Quite the contrary was true! When she first stepped on the sand, she curled her toes and kept asking me to wipe it off of her feet!! So we went down to the water and she couldn't get enough of it. She didn't care how cold it was. We had a great time!!
I love the asleep with teh "cools" on and the snack in the lap!!

Character Breakfast

We decided to wait on going to the Magic Kingdom, but I knew that Ella would love meeting all of the characters so we made reservations for the character breakfast at the Contemporary Hotel's Mickey Cafe. To say that Ella loved it would be an understatement! She made the comment after she saw the first character that..."This is the best day ever!!" That not only melted our hearts but made the whole trip worth it!!

FLORIDA!!

We arrived at about 8pm, a little frayed on the edges, but overall OK! The kids did awesome!!!! Ella loved all of her movies and Cole slept and played with toys. We had to stop about every 3-4 hours because Cole had to eat, or we needed gas, but we took our time and it was really good. We did make it to Chattanooga the first night (about 8 hours total with one 1 1/2 hour stop) so we were hoping for a 8 hour second day...but with a 45 minute delay stopped on the hi-way for an accident and stopping for gas and lunch, it was more of a 10hour day.
The weather is warmer than home, but cool by Florida standards. It is supposed to be in the mid 60's...Scott will be in shorts and t-shirts the entire week...I guarantee it! We have the character breakfast tomorrow morning and then we are going to play it by ear!!

Dinner at...

Tumbleweed!! Yup, that is the name of the restaurant that we ended up eating at because I couldn't handle any fast food and that was the only other option! Suprisingly, it was really good!! Cole loved it because he got to try some rolls, baked potato, and even really small bites of chicken!! What a biggie boy!!

Scott looks a little tired doesn't he??!!

A busy week of...

Bulldog Games!!

We WON!!! That means that we are the Horizon League Champions-Regular Season, and we get to host the championship tournament!!

Ella and Claudia in their matching Matt Howard Jersey's/dresses!!

And off we go to Florida!! We left right after the game to hopefully get to Chattanooga, TN and then stop for the night!!! Wish us luck!!

What a WEEK!!!

YUCK!!!
That is all I can say! From the weather to my house to sickness...YUCK!!
Tuesday night I noticed Ella's eyes looking gunky and thought she probably had pink eye, and when I woke up wednesday morning with a matted and pink eye...I was sure. So I took her to the doctor and she also had a double ear infection!! Her tubes just came out about a month ago!! Arrg!!! So she is on an oral antibiotic for her ears for 10 days and drops for her eyes, 2 drops in each eye every 4 hours for 7 days! Cole and Scott sick free!!
I started with a sore throat 2 weeks ago and was sure that it was a virus, so I waited...and waited...and it didn't get better, so finally thursday I went to my doctor, which I hadn't seen in 3 years, and I have strep! BOO!! The good news is that no one else got it!! YEAH for good hand washing!! So I am on an oral antibiotic and eye drops, for pink eye!
Then Thursday night when I thought all was on the mend, Cole's eyes were red and gunky!! So eye drops for him too!! So along with his Prevacid and Flonase and flouride added vitamin drops...eye drops!!
And we are leaving for Florida, Sunday after the Butler game, and it is Saturday, Valentine's Day, I am at work until 11pm and have yet to pack a single thing!!!
I hope Scott knows that I will be sleeping most of the way because I am stopping at Meijer after work, thank goodness for being open 24hours, and then home to pack!
Then 17 hours in a car with the 2 of them!!
Should be FUN!!!

V-day Party!

Ella had her Valentine's Day party at schoold today...and we were so sad that we were going to miss it!! I took Ella to the doctor this morning to get some drops for pink eye and it turned out that she also had a double ear infection (we hadn't had one of those since she got her tubes when she was 9 month sold!), and we decided that we would just stop by for a minute to deliver her Valentines. I am glad that we did, but she was really bummed to have to leave "school"!

Here are a few friends and her Valentine's tutu!!
PS-the little boy is Liam...Ella's "boyfriend"! Her daddy is not impressed!!

I guess the antibiotics aren't helping yet!!
