Lunch with friends!

We had lunch with a girl friend and her little girl Adeline from work today. Adeline is 11 months and her mommy is expecting another little one, which means that they will be 19 months apart...I hope that having lunch with us today didn't scare her too much!! And yes, my little "bitty" there was heavier than the petite little one he is sharing a lap with and 5 months younger!! Aren't they CUTE!!!

6 months old

We actually had his 6 month check-up on the 19th, but I am going to post this for when he really turned 6 months!

I cannot put into words how much this lilttle boy has changed our lives! He is so happy, and cuddly! He is such a joy to have.

He is not quite sitting up yet, he kinda folds in half! He is rolling in both directions, has recently started saying dada and loves to blow raspberries. He is most content when he is being held and still loves to nap with mommy! We have been working for a while on baby food and rice cereal and have had some pooping issues, but the doc wasn't too concerned! We are going to try oatmeal instead of the rice and see if that helps and go ahead with the baby foods! We shall see!!

The doctor also gave us a trial of a nasal spray, Flonase, to help open up his airway in hopes that it will quite his breathing. If it does, we will add that to the Prevacid and daily vitamin with flouride that he takes because he is nursing. (We feel like we are giving him so many meds...but compared to the kids that I take care of at Riley, this is nothing!!!) All in all...we have a perfect little boy, but again, we didn't need the doc to tell us that!!!

Sippy!

We tried a sippy cup of water tonight with his apples and he grabbed it off his tray and took a BIG swig and then looked at me like I was crazy, and all of the water came back out! I think he was expecting some warm milk and instead ended up with cold water...Bummer!!

Apples...Apples...

Cole ate apples!!! He wasn't sure at first, but he ended up finishing the entire jar!

More Birthday Fun

When we got home from the game and party, we let her open her gifts from us and Grandma and Grandpa Maxfield. We got her Madagascar and Happy Feet and a paly kitchen and Grandma and Grandpa got her all of teh accessories to go with her kitchen! She was in love!!!

A Bulldog Game on your birthday...what more could a little girl ask for...this time it was nothing!! Well exept a birthday party in the Wildman Room at Hinkle Fieldhouse after the game!!

Resting-up for the post-game party! She fell asleep on me and I handed her off to Nana after a while, she gets heavy!! But she hadn't fallen asleep on me in probably a year, it was so sweet!!!
