a park without...

SWINGS!!!

I took them to a new park that was built at 126th and Promise and I was so dissappointed that it didn't have any swings! That is really all Cole can do at a park right now...so poor little bitty had to sit in his stroller! Ella had a great time though climbing and sliding! It is also a sprinkler park that looks really cool...so we will have to try that out this summer.

Bath time fun

Some of you may remember that Ella had a very interesting hair line for a very long time. She really only had hair in the center of her head...and then eventually a "mullet" in the back. Well, folks, Cole has inherited that too! I must say, boys with mohawks are cuter than girls with mohawks! It is really nice right now to be able to bath them both at the same time. I can see in the future though that this will not always be the case...she has already began asking why his "bottom" looks different than hers!

A Day at the Zoo

Scott is out of town, in Chicago, for a Bachelor party...so I decided to pack the kids up and head to the zoo. We had a great time. Ella even wore a pull-up and peepee'd in the potty twice!! She did have one accident...but how can you tell a potty-training-two-year-old...you have to wait your turn!! They both loved the plains...the giraffes and rhino's were running around! It was a beautiful day! It did take us over an hour to get there because they had roads closed for the Race for a Cure...but we made it and enjoyed every second!

Avery Jukes Children's Foundation Gala

Brady, coach Steven's son, Ella and Claudia. They played outside and had such a good time.
Ella and Claudia in their Matt Howard jerseys...
funny story...s nice lady went up to Ella to admire her jersey. They lady told Ella that she loved her "shirt" Ella looked at her and said "it's a jersey!"

Ella and the Bulldog!

Matt Howard and Claudia and Ella...

He had another player, Zach Hahn, cut his hair and right at the end he tried to trim his neck and saw a long piece, and forgot that he had the guard off and took a chunk out...so now he is a baldie!! Ella didn't even recognize him!

Avery Jukes is a Butler Basketball player and has a Childrens foundation...so tonight...we had a Gala to raise money. It was at the NCAA Hall fo Champions. Avery and Brad spoke on behalf of raising money for an orginization that does work with missions in Africa. We had a great time for a great cause!!

Happy Easter

My niece Anna...isn't she a cutie!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

We had such a great time today. The kidddos got up and saw what the Easter bunny brought them. Ella was so excited! The Easter bunny brought her a jump rope, yoyo and ball. She can't jump rope or do the yoyo, but she LOVES them!! Cole got a Fisher Price tee ball. We went to church, and then headed to the McGrath's for some food and fun.

HAPPY EASTER FROM US TO YOU!!!

Peeps

Her first bite of a peep...an Easter tradition!!
I have always thought that peeps were just a part of Easter. They were always in my Easter baskets despite the fact that I NEVER ate one! So when grandma Jenny sent Ella some Peeps in her Easter basket I thought nothing of tossing them in the trash. Ella had other thoughts!! She was horrified at the sight of her Peeps on the way to the trash can. Although she really wanted to just carry them around like pets, I convienced her that they were to eat. After one bite I think that she may be closer to following tradition than making a new one...after the one bite and smile...she decided that the Peeps were better off in the trash!

Easter Bunny

Ella, Fallyn, and Bella

Silly Girlies!
We met up with Amber, Fallyn and Charlie, Alli and Bella to grab some lunch, play and meet the easter bunny. Both Ella and Cole were great meeting Santa so I thought that they would be good. With Santa they both were all smiles, this time no smiles but no tears either!! We'll take what we can get!!
