What a bummer!! We came all the way over here, and they lost in the first game of the entire tournament!! The worst part was that they got so close at the end, and they didn't play as well as they can. Oh well, they are young and hopefully this was a good learning experience for them. At the beginning of the season we never thought that they would get to this point...so we are really proud of them!!
Ella and Cole both slept at the game...they haven't done that in forever!!
Funny story...we are staying at the hotel with the team and we were waiting on the elevator and out walks Matt Howard (Ella's FAVORITE player) and a few of the other players. Ella gasps!! Matt says Hi to her, as he always does. And she acts all sorts of shy. So we get in the elevator and he is standing next to her. And all of the sudden she is panting! Like she is so excited she can't catch her breath. Matt says something to her, she just grins!! The elevator door open up and she looks at Matt and says..."Come on Matt!!" Like he is now her new best friend and they are gonna go play!! Too Funny!!!
